What we collect
- Preference cookies for things like audio on/off and your preferred card-play style, stored on your device.
- Gameplay data needed to run a match — board state, hand, and room codes — while a match is in progress.
- Custom cards or decks you create and save using tools like the Card Studio.
Playing does not require an account. If you register for the forum, we store your email address, public display name, a salted password hash, and the time you accepted the terms. Your email address is not shown publicly. We do not collect payment information.
If you sign in with Google, Google shares your account identifier, email address and whether that email is verified; we do not receive your Google password. We use these only to sign you in. Signing in with Google for an email that already has an account links the two, and the earlier password then stops working.
Forum discussions and replies are public. We also store expiring login sessions and temporary rate-limit records to protect accounts and limit spam.
Your account can also store a profile picture, biography, friend requests and friendships. Private messages are stored for the sender and recipient. They are not public and are not end-to-end encrypted. Removing a friend stops new messages but does not delete existing messages.
How we use it
Data is used solely to run matches, remember your preferences, and improve the game. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Cookies
We use cookies for functional preferences (audio, card-play style). When you log in, a separate session cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days. Logging out revokes that session. You can also clear cookies through your browser settings.
